The Project
Following our successful delivery at the Brighton Marathon, Orange Beach Bars was invited to support the London Marathon, one of the most prestigious running events in the world. In 2024, the London Marathon introduced a new Greenfield start zone, designed as a more sustainable space for runners. Orange Beach Bars was asked to provide a complimentary coffee service to 5,000 runners in this new area.
Our Approach
We designed and delivered a service that balanced efficiency, sustainability, and human connection.
- High-Volume Service: Created an operational model capable of serving 5,000 runners in a very short timeframe before the race.
- Complimentary Offer: Provided free tea and coffee to participants, adding value and comfort on a challenging morning.
- Sustainable Delivery: Aligned with the Greenfield’s ethos, using eco-friendly practices and materials.
- Emotional Connection: Recognised the emotional significance of the event – our team engaged with runners of all abilities, many fundraising or running for personal causes.
- Flexible Operations: Mobilised early at Greenwich start line, showcasing agility and commitment in a high-pressure, time-critical environment.
