The Project
Trans Pride Brighton is one of the UK’s most important community-led festivals, providing a vital space for trans and non-binary people to celebrate, connect, and be visible. Orange Beach Bars was entrusted as sole bar provider, with a clear responsibility: to create a bar environment that was safe and welcoming for everyone.
Our Approach
Working closely with the Trans Pride board, we designed and operated a bar service that reflected the festival’s values of inclusivity and community.
- Safe & Comfortable Spaces: Delivered a bar operation that prioritised accessibility and comfort, aligning with the festival’s ethos.
- Operational Agility: Managed a same-day build and break – requiring precision planning to ensure smooth service within the festival’s condensed format.
- High-Volume Efficiency: Deployed a team experienced in serving large numbers quickly, crucial for an event where most attendees arrive within a short four-to-five-hour window.
- Diverse Menu: Offered a broad and inclusive drinks range, ensuring accessibility and choice for all festival-goers.
Results
- Successfully delivered bar operations for a high-intensity, short-format festival.
- Received excellent feedback from organisers on both service and inclusivity.
- Secured repeat invitations to return as Trans Pride continues to grow year after year.

Orange Beach Bars has built a trusted partnership with Trans Pride and supports the festival’s growth.
